MSH is placed in a picturesque Tkalciceva street. Locals affectionately call it Tkalca. It is known for its cozy cafes, small restaurants, boutiques and galleries. By its architecture it greatly reflects the spirit of old Zagreb, by night Tkalca turns into a favorite party place not only for the tourist but for the locals too.

Kitchen and common areas were nice and the included breakfast was great. Easy tram ride from the bus or train stations. Bathrooms were clean and then were plenty of them. Beds were comfy and gave plenty of privacy.

I only spent one night here and it was a very positive experience! The only issues I had were that I didn’t have an outlet in my bed area, which wasn’t the case for my friends who were with me, & getting up to the floor of the hostel is a bit of a pain. The elevator is very small and slow & the stairway is filled with trash from construction on another floor. Despite this, I would definitely recommend staying here!
