For the cheap price, you cannot have a lot of expectations. The door of my dorm did not close, it is not the cleanest hostel and the facilities are okay. Besides that, the rooms have AC which is a big plus and it is close to some nice cafes and the beach. The staff was a bit indifferent towards me and I had a hard time meeting people. Overall, I would stay again as the money you save on accommodation can help you pay for food and activities which are quite expensive in Venao.

Pros - Good location, aircon pumps, cheap private rooms.
Cons - Bedding was stained & old, ants everywhere on the bed, hole in the ceiling, common space is dark & uninviting, kitchen was beyond disgusting (bin over flowing, sink blocked with old food), shared bathroom facilities full of old empty toiletries, construction noises all day long.
