Really enjoyed our two night stay here. Beds were very comfortable and curtains on the bunks were a nice touch. Hot water, a big kitchen that was impressively clean, and friendly and helpful staff. Great place to cook with lots of supplies. Very social and comfortable atmosphere. Only complaint was lack of security with a broken lock on our door, but we did not have any problems with anything stolen. Thank you Mackenzie and staff!

Absolutely loved this hostel, it feels like a home away from home! Everyone is so kind and helpful. Common rooms, dorm rooms and kitchen are always clean, definitely would recommend to anyone staying in La Fortuna!

Good location and clean but very basic. Edgar at reception was great but the women often looked uninterested. Little/no social scene in this hostel and room are very stuffy with no ventilation
