Few experiences compare to the adventure of traveling to see new places or return to the places we miss. Hostik is strategically located in the heart of Merida, just minutes from parks, museums, bars and markets. The Hostel is located right in front of the old Railway Station, which operated from 1920 to 1974: an emblematic site for Yucatan.
Hostik Hostal Inn has a number of amenities including a bar, a garden, pool and a terrace.
The proximity that distinguishes our city and the journeys of its old locomotives have inspired us to create this accessible and welcoming option, ideal both for those who know who will spend most of their time outside - swimming in the cenotes, exploring archaeological sites, touring the Restored haciendas-, as for those who want a relaxed weekend, enjoy the warm atmosphere, the delicious cuisine that the so-called 'white city' offers and the safety of its streets.
It is an open hostel, with many common areas, we have a rooftop, swimming pool, games room and a huge ceiba (typical Yucatán tree)

Cancellation Policy: 72h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

A beautiful hostel but I found it really hard to meet people here. There was just never really anybody in the common areas when I was there to meet. They had a WhatsApp chat to see what was going on in the hostel but I never saw any messages in there during my 3 night stay.
The facilities were nice but I couldn’t get the hob to turn on as you had to use a lighter and I just couldn’t get it working even with the lighter. I always had to ask the staff.

The place looks ok in the pictures, but the street where is located looks very bad, there is no pavement and not enough street lights. Also, it seems the staff hates to work with people, except the only guy in reception.
