Wombat's City Hostel Munich Werksviertel

The building is state of the art, the interior design is hip and clean, and our rooms await you with ensuite bathrooms as well as our new, multifunctional bunk beds. Our new flagship house in Munich's trendy 'Werksviertel' set sail in April 2022.

Obviously when thinking of Munich, Beer, Pretzels and Lederhosen come to mind. However, the city does have a young, hip & modern side to it as well.
One of the most exciting areas of the city where this transition can currently be observed is called 'Werksviertel'.
A former industrial site, it was transformed into a trashy-chic place for Bars, Clubs, Arcades as well as the hotspot for Munich's alternative art scene in the 90s. This 'futuristic' neighborhood now elegantly combines modern living with event locations, gastronomy, sports, shopping in ample green surroundings and excellent access to public transit. With one of our houses right in the middle of the action!

And where exactly is the new Wombat's City Hostel Munich Werksviertel located? In the new landmark building of town of course! Based on a former potato silo, an 86 metre high complex has been constructed, visible from (almost) everywhere in the city. Hint for your bucket list: Not everyone can claim to have slept in a former silo.
This 86-meter-high ho(s)tel-tower makes the mix of tradition and modernism visible unlike any other place in town and you can even scale it! There's a rock-climbing gym with access to parts of the façade just next door.
