In Rio Danta Hostel we want you to find a cozy place during your stay in La Fortuna, where you can enjoy the tranquility of the area, thanks to our excellent location. You can enjoy the small river that runs through our lodging and the visit of different birds; as well as sloth bears that sometimes come to visit us.
Our rooms are spacious, as well as our kitchen, where you can enjoy preparing any type of food you want. On the other hand, we offer you free information on tours of the area (which you can also buy right there), WiFi, bathrooms with hot water, among other amenities that you will find.

Cancellation policy: 5 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Staff were lovely. The kitchen was cleaned regularly and rooms were very clean. Only a 10 minute walk from the Centre and the nature around was beautiful. Great area to hang out in

Staff - incredibly rude and unhelpful. One man in particular. We had our food chucked in the bin after it was labelled and he told me “life goes on”, as well as not helping us when they removed our things off our bed and moved us without warning. Also this place is hella dirty. Not worth the stay - rooms are also super uncomfortable

Lovely staff - very welcoming and showed us lots of things we could do. Good location - walking distance to shops and centre. Rooms are very spacious and good air conditioning and kitchen has loads of space to cook. Overall great vibes and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
