Welcome to Hostel Uppelink, a family owned hostel situated in the historical center of Ghent. Please have a look below to see what we have to offer.

IMPORTANT!
* Check-in between 15:00 and 22:00
* Check-out between 8:00 and 11:00
* In some cases, the staff will ask for a deposit
* All reservations should be paid in advance:
- Non-refundable rate: paid upon making the reservation
- Standard rate: one week (7 days) before arrival.

Phenomenal place to stay! The location is as good as you can get, right in the heart of the city. The staff were very informative and friendly. I stayed in the 14 mixed dorm and always felt safe and comfortable. This was my first hostel experience and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone

Although I only spent a short time at Uppelink, I still think it was one of the best hostels I've stayed at. We arrived later at the hostel after check-in, but the staff there was friendly and helpful to instruct us how to self-check in and open the door ourselves. The hostel has a great location, very centered, and is close to lots of activities. It has an ancient, medieval-ish vibe overall just like the city. The view from our room window is amazing. Nothing to be complained about.

One of the best hostels I’ve been to so far. Perfect location and amazing staffs. Brian at the reception was so friendly and cheerful. They also have kayaking through the canals of Ghent. The walking tours also start from the front of this hostel. A lil bit of sewer smell was there in the washroom. Except for that, everything was amazing!
