We had a great stay at the hostel. Andres is super helpful, organise amazing tour. We had a lot of fun, and create good memories thanks to the atmosphere of the hostel!
I would recommend 100% !

First bad review from me incoming.
It’s in a great location and it’s cheap, but here is why you shouldn’t stay here:
- Lack of trained staff. Yes there are cheap tours, but the owner is clearly doing too many jobs. Check ins, tour office, tour guide, renovation. The cleaner’s are lovely but don’t have any other responsibilities.
- No stability. We tried to book a tour in person and on Whatsapp, but were completely forgotten about in clear favouritism of other younger, more feminine guests.
- Lack of facilities. There was no hot water. The WIFI stopped working for 6 hours (which is a major problem in a town with no other way to get WIFI), there are minimal places to relax
- Lack of security. There is no where to store luggage
- Lack of communication. In our two day stay, there was heavy metal work for a span of 4 hours on both days, making staying in the hostel unsafe.
- Rudeness. Likely due to favouritism, there were multiple incidents between other guests and staff.
If the staff were to read this review, I would suggest improvement through clear communication to guests and less reliance on one staff member.

This is a brilliant hostel, Andres is great fun and goes out of his way to make your stay as best as possible. The tours are great, Andres is very knowledgeable and his spots avoid the crowds and entrance fees. They are also way cheaper than booking in town with a better atmosphere, as it’s with ppl from the hostel and he brings drinks. Defo recommend
