With an amazing panoramic view, only a 7-minute walk from the center.
Other facilities are: there is an amazing panoramic view of the mountains and the lake, under floor heating; 1, 2, 3 and 4 people rooms and much more...

Please note that due to severe fluctuations in the Argentine pesos, rates are in USD to avoid any price difference and misunderstandings. If at the time of making your reservation you choose to see the rate in ARS, please beware that Hostelworld show a referential Bloomberg´s rate, but the in force exchange rate for tourism is the Tourist or MEP exchange rate, which is much higher. This is why rates are in USD and do not change.
We reserve the right to pre-authorise your card in order to ensure credit card details are correct.
We will ask you to provide the CVV code and failure to provide it will result on booking cancellation
Cancellation:
We have a 48hr cancellation policy. All cancellations and changes must be made by email or they will not be accepted.

Brilliant place. Awesome breakfast (included in price), and they had musicians as entertainment for the evening. lovely place to wind down in the evening after touring the glaciers in the daytime. 100% recommend.

A bit on the pricey side, but honestly well-worth it considering the atmosphere this place has created. Loving dogs all over the place, a cozy fire to warm up next to, incredibly friendly staff, and great kitchen. The hostel helped coordinate glacier excursions before we arrived so it was all taken care of in advance. It's within walking distance of the town center.
If I'm ever back in Calafate, I'll certainly be staying here again.

By far the best hostel to stay at when in El Calafate - and one of the best we have stayed at in South America so far!
First of all, the vibe and atmosphere is just great! Staff wise, Augustine who we met a lot during our two stays was super helpful and friendly.
It is a bit pricier than other hostels, but you get a lot of value staying here - having numerous options of places to chill/hangout, and you’ll definitely meet some new friends.
The only thing we found was that the rooms smelt a bit - maybe li
