Each features an original tribute written by local voices such as Emma Silvers [KQED], Ben Fong-Torres [Rolling Stone], and Joel Selvin [SF Chronicle]. Traveling on a budget never felt more rock n’ roll.
*PLEASE NOTE* Please contact us in advance if you expect to arrive after 11pm so that we can arrange a late check in for you. Please note that we do NOT accept cash, and the front desk closes daily at 11pm. Please inform us in advance if you expect to arrive after 11pm. We do not allow pets.
Located in the vibrant Polk Gulch neighborhood, dozens of varied and excellent food, beverage, and entertainment options are within steps of Music City Hotel. Tourist attractions and neighborhoods such as Chinatown, Union Square, North Beach, Fisherman's Wharf, Golden Gate Bridge, Haight Ashbury, and the Mission District are all located either within walking distance or a short ride away thanks to our convenient and central location.
Upon check-in, photo identification and debit/credit card is required. Please note that 16.25% tax is not included. Only credit card or debit will be accepted for payment. We do NOT accept any cash.
We have Free WiFi in all our guest rooms and throughout the building.

Good: beds, privacy, helpful staff, free coffee/tea + fruits, location. To improve: no common areas (although they said they are building one atm), if you get unlucky your room might be above a bandroom so during bands' practice hours you cant hear your own thoughts (although doesnt really matter unless you plan to hangout in your room during daytime which I assume not). However, I liked my stay as wanted to be by myself but if you want more social vibe, you might want to consider :)

Decent place to stay. Not a hotel definitely hostel vibe. Enjoyed the privacy of the capsule. This hostel is very good if your more of a loner. No common room or kitchen. Close to some cafes. Looks like a place for squatters on the outside since it’s all boarded up. It’s my second time staying first time there was bathroom renovations and very loud and noisy. Second time was much better. Only water and tea some coffee available. The Decor is fun.
