Hostel IbedCity is one of the newest and northernmost capsule hostels in Rovaniemi. Situated in the very heart of Santa´s home, it provides its customers with an opportunity to fall in love with the heart of Lapland.
Situated in Rovaniemi, 1.7 km from Santa Claus Village. Ounasvaara Ski Resort is 3.1 km from Hostel Ibedcity. The nearest airport is Rovaniemi Airport, 3 km from the hostel. The city center is 6km away from our location. There is a market 600m away, and K-market weekday opens from 7 to 22.
Our Kitchen has a rice cooker, microwave, toaster, and fridge available because the energy price is very high, and the Oven and stove can not use anymore.
Our hostel has especially nordic designed capture beds. More than that, you can book sauna and winter activities from us at a very good price.

It came up a bit short. Was in a difficult to reach situation. I was glad I hired a car.
The communal areas very small and not super comfortable - just an eating area, nowhere else to relax.
Lots of faculties ‘on hold’ . Cooker, stover etc. this seemed ridiculously mean, there’s no food served and shops are quite far, so everyone cooking had to use the microwave (only one!). Couldn’t cook pasta, eggs etc.
Sauna - ubiquitous in Finland - only available if minimum numbers and extra charge.

Best location walk to Santa clause village and airport and bus no 8 to city. Very clean and stafe very helpful even they exchange money I recommend this hostel
