Really lovely staff and a great place with a rooftop, cool artwork and tea/coffee making facilities. Such a good deal too.

I truly hated this stay. My partner and I stayed in the double bed private room. We dropped our bags off and went to sepilok which was not too far from the hostel. Once we came back and checked in I walked to the shared bathroom and immediately started looking for flights back to KL. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and weren’t working properly. The shower barely ran and there was no hot water. My partner tried to shower but was unable to use it. All night long we couldn’t sleep due to people singing on a loud microphone down by the water. And then once that finished the cats started screaming and fighting all night. You can draw and write on the walls. And in our room there were tons of people writing how good their s** was in the bed. If we were able to fly out that night I would have left.
