Hotel de france etablished in 1980 and renovated in 2001, the hotel is located few steps from the train station 'Gare du Midi', within walking distance from the centre.... Hotel de france is 10 minutes walking distance from city center.

We have 27 cosy and comfrotable rooms with bath-shower all comforts i.e. tv, telephone, toilet, douche and table desk.
Receiption open 24 hours.
Check in time - 12 noon
Check Out time - 11 am.
**Continental breakfast is 5 euro per person from 07.00 am till 10.00 am in the special hall.

The staff was alright. Super close to the Brussels-MIDI station which is good. But the neighbourhood it’s quite rough and I don’t recommend it for solo travels during at night time. We didn’t want the room service the days than we stay there and we still getting the room service. Our room had just one window which just open to a dead space without any air circulation.

The area around the gare du midi is disgusting and it does not feel safe. The hotel staff were pleasant enough, but the guy on the front desk seemed to have no idea about the deposit I’d paid, or how much to charge. The room was clean, but shabby and the hotel was generally noisy and dark. I wouldn’t go back willingly.
