Lovely location, easy to walk to the park/pools.
Nice pool and scenery.
They do play ridiculously loud music majority of the day, personally music shouldn’t be played till after like 8/9am but they had it on at like 6am - which is fine if the hostel dorm had proper walls, the 18 bed dorm is above the bar with no proper wall so it’s very loud - and music was played very loud and late (even tho they say it stops at 11)

Best part: location- We loved walking to semuc champey or the river each day. Felt like a proper escape.
Downside - far from an ATM, make sure you get enough cash out in Lanquin to avoid card charges
Pool and communal area is amazing.
The food gets bad reviews for being expensive but I thought it was all delicious with decent portions - so definitely worth it!
It’s not a party hostel but with enough people around it was easy to socialise.
Staff were chatty and friendly

This is a brilliant hostel. Cool vibe, as its a big space in the jungle. Quite fun. The location is brilliant, being a short walk away from Semuc
