Zhongqing Hotel Chiayi is only a 10-minute walk from Wenhua Road Night Market, a 12-minute walk from Chiayi Railway Art Village, and a 7-minute drive from Hinoki Forest Village.
For a comfortable stay, slippers and a hairdryer are provided in the room. Zhongqing Hotel Chiayi features free WiFi throughout the property and TVs with cable channels.
The museum has a shared kitchen, travel boards, projection TV, game area, sofa and reading area. In addition, it is also equipped with a self-service washing machine and dryer, bringing a convenient accommodation experience.

not the best hostel in taiwan, full of local people who do not have much respect for people sleeping, talking loudly at 12.30 at night total lack of respect then staff making the beds and turning on the lights at 8 in the morning .I stayed for 4 nights and this happened on multiple nights from different guests who all seemed local. so social atmospheric so dont expect to meet any other travellers when travelling solo would only recommend one nights if you have too.

1600 NT$ for 3 days, that's the biggest amount I paid in Taiwan for a bed in a dorm. Considering that, there are too many shortcomings : unlike advertised on website, no free breakfast (I don't think bread costs that much...), dorm is very small, wifi reception in the dorm is non-existent, evening staff is not friendly (they do help but it looks like it's an incredible thing to ask for information, it doesn't come naturally, nor with a smile - unusual here). No ambiance whatsoever either...
