Ivory towers lodge offers you a wide range of accommodation spread over three buildings, all with kitchens and warm lounges.
We offer bicycle hire fresh linen on all beds and all doubles and twins fresh towels. Free luggage storage hair dryers, spa and sauna, and the kitchen has free tea, sugar herbs and spices and oil.
Our share rooms are heated and you control the heat and extra blankets are available and the maximum size room is just 6
The main kitchen is large and fully equipped including two ovens, and we do have a large Bar-b-que as well.
Our kitchen, lounge, and tv room are all open 24 hours.
The lounge is a quiet area with a big wood burner to keep you warm and lots of games to keep you amused, As well as free wifi
A large tv room with over 300 dvds should keep you busy on the odd wet day.
Our spa pool is nestled next to the bush and is a lovely way to finish a busy day.
Our office is open 8.00am to 8.30 pm
We can also offer great information on all local tracks.

This hostel could have cut so many corners because it is basically the only place to stay in town. However, they have an incredibly well stocked kitchen and a lovely free spa pool. We were upgraded to a nicer room for the same price because it was empty (don't count on this service, but you might have good luck travelling in the winter). The atmosphere was a little off, but I am sure that the place can be bustling at the height of tourist season.

Very nice hostel for the money, especially in New Zealand. We got lucky and had a dorm to ourselves but could see this spot being a bit worse if it was full. No lockers in the rooms and the beds were very open. Staff were all so kind and they had a very friendly dog at the office. Also very close to a track where you can see many glow worms!
