The Yellow was voted the #1 hostel in Rome at the 2011 Hoscars and it’s not hard to see why. The hostel is set near Termini station and has a popular bar downstairs which one Hostelworld traveller described as the ‘cheapest in town’. Our visitors say the staff know the best spots to party and the must-go sites and ‘will make you feel at home and help in every way possible and join in the festivities at night’. The hostel has a youthful party atmosphere which our guests say is ‘very comfortable, fun and safe’.

Yellow Hostel has redefined the meaning of what a hostel is, YellowSquare is no longer a place where you just lay your head to rest in a bunk bed. It's now where you can enhance your work in our coworking spaces, be entertained by local live bands, go on shopping tours with locals, learn to cook gourmet meals, change your look in the ContestaRockHair salon and much more.
Our Concierge Bar is the perfect spot for you to chill, play, meet other guests and drink in a great environment. Ask for our amazing plates at the YellowBar and enjoy different activities we do throughout the week. Also, our coworking hall will allow you to book a safe and quiet space to work on a dedicated desktop, print and get your career or business going while discovering Rome.
Even though governmental restrictions might constantly change, at YellowSquare you are able to enjoy a safe hostel experience with all the safety measurements suggested during the COVID19 period by the government.

The private rooms are equipped with a private ensuite bathroom, independent air conditioning and heating, a safety deposit box, a hair dryer, Wi-Fi
All bedrooms are non-smoking. There's also air conditioning in the ensuite dorms. We've got hot showers 24/7!
Some of our great hostel features include free Wi-Fi, a bar, food available all day, a patio, coworking spaces, meeting rooms, tours, activities and more.
We provide great walking tours and free city maps, with no lockout or curfew. There's a supermarket nearby and safe paid parking nearby. Luggage deposit
Please note that we only accept guests between the ages of 18 and 45. People aged 16 and under cannot stay with us. Guests aged 17 must be accompanied by another guest aged 18 or older and have written permission from a parent or legal guardian. Please read our confirmation email for more details. This place is amazing!! I’d really recommend for staying in Rome, you get your moneys worth. The hostel is clean, an amazing atmosphere with a bar across the road.. first beer free. Great breakfast also, loved the staff!!!!

honestly best hostel I’ve stayed at so far
Staff was really cool (all of them)
YellowBar across the street is fun every night so many new people to meet just overall a great time
Next time I’m in Rome it will be at yellow square

Uno de los mejores hostales en los que me he quedado. Tiene muchos lugares interesantes y el mejor para hacer amistades o conocer personas. Un ambiente súper amigable y feliz. Está cerca de estación del tren y de ahí puedes ir a los lugares turísticos.

I think what makes us different from the rest is that the heart and soul of The Yellow is the Yellow Bar. The atmosphere and the prices are so legendary that they attract guest from surrounding hostels and hotels.
You'll find that the majority of our guests range in age from 18 to 26, and they all come to enjoy the great atmosphere we create. With different DJs coming in to spin party music, a â'¬3 buffet, our nine-hour-long happy hour and beer pong tournaments, I think a lot of people find it hard to leave.
We've also got a pretty quiet area in our restaurant if challenging someone to beer pong isn't your cup of tea. And while you're sipping on your cocktail or choosing something to eat off of our menu, you can take advantage of our free iPad rentals and Wi-Fi.
Once you're ready to experience Roman nightlife, the staff at The Yellow are the most knowledgeable when it comes to knowing what's going on in the city every night. So just ask us :)
