I would highly recommend this hostel. My friend and I stayed at Mamatierra for 1 week. The host Rodrigo is such a welcoming and friendly person he will schedule any tour you would like to make. He also facilitates interaction between guests at the hostel and makes you feel at home. Breakfast is great and on days when you leave early in the morning, they will pack you a lunch. The location is just a few minutes walk from the Main Street which we enjoyed because it was peaceful. Bodega next door!

Fantastic hostel in an excellent location (fewer than 5 minute walk to the main street). The patio and breakfasts facilitated a nice social atmosphere and you get to know a lot of the other guests. Rodrigo was very helpful for setting up tours/answering questions. The staff was very thorough with their cleaning. My bed was comfortable and there are lockers to store your important items. Highly Recommended.

This is the best hostel we have stayed in to date. The room, shared bathrooms and kitchen were immaculate. Great atmosphere to meet other travellers and it’s only a 5 minute walk to the town centre. They also provided a brilliant breakfast/ lunch to go on excursions. Would highly recommend!
