Kin Balam Cabanas & Property has 25 recently remodeled cabanas, in the National Park with leafy trees, green areas, and the river Michol that crosses it. We offer 4 types of Cabanas:
Cabanas A: Up to 4 person. each, with private bathroom.
Cabanas B-1: Up to 2 person. each, with private bathroom.
Cabanas B-2: Up to 2 person. each, with shared bathroom.
Cabanas C: Up to 2 person. each, with shared bathroom.
Cabanas A: Up to 4 person. each, with private bathroom.
Cabanas B-1: Up to 2 person. each, with private bathroom.
Cabanas B-2: Up to 2 person. each, with shared bathroom.
Cabanas C: Up to 2 person. each, with shared bathroom.

Great hostel in the jungle. The collectivo comes straight to the hostel entrance. There is a bar across the road which plays live music every night. The pool at the hostel is nice and I got a whole dorm to myself which was nice. It’s super close to the ruins. The restaurant is ok as well and is reasonably priced for its location. The kitchen doesn’t have a lot though so don’t expect to cook an elaborate meal.

Lots of hidden costs eg bag storage, using the pool after checkout and cost for drinking water. Feels more like a hotel. Unhelpful with emails prior about arrivals and tours on offer. Huts made if mosquito net but has huge holes. Really nice where it’s in the jungle and laid out nicely

Nice hostel in a great location (right on the edge of the forest and archaeological zone). Bear in mind this is out of the main town so isn't close to anything else. It's a 20 peso collectivo ride, or after 6pm its 100 peso for a Taxi, to get to town. Hot showers, nice pool, incredible wildlife (howler monkeys etc). Very average restaurant. Staying here is about being close to the jungle for a different experience to a standard hostel, so location is the main selling point if you want that.
