We advice customers with mobility issues to contact us directly prior to booking as most rooms, whilst we have a lift, are accessed by an unavoidable small set of stairs and the Retreat may not be suitable for those with additional mobility concerns due to an unavoidable extra stairwell.
Children under 18 years of age are not permitted to stay at Trek Global unless accompanied by a guardian over the age of 18 who is also staying at the property and in the same room. If an entire wing of the property is booked, then minors can be in separate rooms from their guardian, however, the hostel must be contacted directly to arrange this.
Valid photo identification is required at check-in for each guest staying. Valid photo identification that will be accepted is a passport, NZ drivers’ licence, Kiwi Access Card (or HANZ card) and European Identity cards. Student IDs or foreign driving licences will not be accepted as valid. Identification must not be expired, and copies will NOT be accepted.

The staff didn’t really help upon arrival. The room was very very small for four people, we hardly managed to fit four luggage properly. The whole hostel was a mess and untidy.

Nice place to stay. Can be confusing with the different flights of stairs and parking if you have a car is difficult. Overall, would stay again. Clean and comfortable room.

Clean facilities, excellent location and comfy beds. Downside is there isn’t much of an atmosphere or activities going on.
