It seems that the accommodation was empty when I stayed - the room is very basic but comfortable. I needed to leave early to go to Luxor and the staff were really helpful getting me a taxi

Why would you not stay at the 4 Seasons - a private with an ensuite for 300 EP? Mohammed is a pleasant helpful guy. I was only there for 2 nites and didn't dive, but that price must be the cheapest in the world.
