Kumoji-So Hostel is only minutes away from sights such as the Kokusai Street called ‘Miracle Mile’ by the locals because it was the first place rebuilt by Americans after the war. Pros - staff are friendly and offered us suggestions on what to do and where is best to drink. Very cheap and conveniently located closed the busy district of Naha Cons - layout is very strange, with no sink close to the rooms. Bathroom and shower areas are not air conditioned and felt a bit dirty. There is a smoking area inside the hostel right next to the bathroom and shower, so the whole places stinks of smoke. There is a code for the main door but it’s left open a lot, so felt a little unsafe. The hostel has potential and could be great with some TLC. All-in-all I would recommend not staying if you don’t like cigarette smoke.

I really wouldnt leave this review if i didnt feel like i had to as im not that guy but: Wouldnt recommend to anyone, especially female travellers. Creepy vibe, smells of smoke everywhere, have to pay for air con, seen a cockroach roaming around, dont really need to say anything else.
