Cocomama was voted the best in the Netherlands at the 2011 Hoscars and it's not hard to see why, guests have said this boutique hostel is "the opposite to the big corporate hostels that lack character", with clean, newly furnished rooms "done up to the small detail". Hostelworld reviewers tell us the staff "love their city [and] will give you all the info you need on where to go", making this hostel feel "like a home away from home". We particularly like the resident cat and the large back garden.

First time backpacker? You’re in the right place. Located in the heart of Amsterdam, ClinkCoco is brimming with color, character, and amazing guests! Whether you choose a themed private room or a comfy dorm bed, you can kick back in our inviting living room before diving into one of Europe’s best cities.
Our rooms are uniquely designed, offering everything from private rooms (Triple, Twin or Doubles) to 6-bed dorms (and everything in between). At ClinkCoco, you’re never alone. Share travel stories and meals at our communal table. Make friends and hang out with fellow travellers in our private garden or common room or cook up a storm in our fully equipped kitchen—perfect for keeping costs down.
Feeling homesick or just need some furry company? Our friendly resident cat is here to keep you company and add to the cozy, homey vibe. 😊
Our staff keeps the fun going with tons of activities, including movie nights, drink nights, games nights, and family dinners!

I had a good stay, it’s in a good location, the beds were comfy and the hostel itself felt homey with a wholesome atmosphere. The common area was nice and the kitchen is well stocked. The 6-bed dorm I was in was pretty cramped and the lockers were only big enough for a small bag and didn’t accommodate either of my locks. However, I felt safe leaving my stuff during the day regardless so that wasn’t a deal breaker. Also loved that there was a hostel cat! Would stay here again.

Privacy curtains on all which was great. Bed outlet and lamp. One area of my bed didn't have a curtain and was in front of a large fully open window so I needed to close the room curtain for a bit of privacy but apart from that good.
