Brand new backpackers hostel that’s is environment concious, ideally located next to the airport but connected by public transport to the city centre. Bunk central Leh is for all budget travellers who do not wish to compromise on space and comfort.
Situated in Leh and with Shanti Stupa reachable within 6.3 km, Bunk Central Hostel features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. The property is around 3.2 km from Soma Gompa, 3.5 km from War Museum and 5.2 km from Namgyal Tsemo Gompa. Some rooms at the property have a balcony with a mountain view.
At the hostel, all rooms include a desk. Rooms are fitted with a private bathroom with a bidet, while certain rooms come with a terrace and others also boast city views. The rooms include bed linen.

The location is not in the main area. The staff's attitude towards guests is somewhat biased, with a few guests even leaving because it was not secure.

Myself and my partner had a wonderful stay here acclimatising in Leh before setting off on a bike trip. It’s in a peaceful location outside the hustle and bustle but still close enough that you can easily get in.
The staff are wonderful, food is excellent and we got so many tips and advice for the area which have been invaluable for planning. Highly recommend!

The hostel dorms and toilets were very clean. It is a newly constructed hostel hence everything was spotless. The hostel is located far (3 kms) from the main market, and 500 meters from the main road with public transport. The staff is nice and accommodating. There was no vibe/activity at my time of travel as the hostel was mostly empty.
Recommended if you want a clean and peaceful stay.
