Really good hostel to stay at and good value for your money. Castor went out of his way to take us to local bars, restaurants and activities. These activities included walking tour and visiting waterfalls/ geo pools. We extended our stay as we really enjoyed his hospitality. Also he has other helpful tips, tours and transportation. I would recommend staying here as your hub to do all the activities that he has outlined.

Castor and bush make the hostel feel just like a home. Straight away it’s social and has an easy energy. There’s a great kitchen, affordable laundry, and nice space to chill. The neighborhood is sweet, with an easy walk to centre. There’s also these nice local natural pools nearby for $2! Plus one of the best pupusa places in ES around the corner. Staying here was a great intro into El Salvador! You can learn about the history and experiences from castor which is super interesting.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. Booked one night and ended up staying five. Great atmosphere as Castore (the host) really makes you feel welcome at his place. The location is in a nice neighbourhood and the kitchen facilities are top notch. Laundry service is only $1.50 which is also a big plus. Definitely recommend if staying in Santa ana.
