HI Hostel Stara pekara is situated in old part of the town called Tvrda (fortress) very close to Osijek's Promenade along the Drava River.

The newly renovated building of the former Austro-Hungarian military bakery from the 1740s now provides accommodation for individual guests and groups.

Hostel Stara pekara is located a 15-minute walk from the city center, which can be reached by the promenade along the Drava river, by walking along the Art Nouveau street of Europe Avenue or by tram, which is 3-4 minutes away from the hostel.
