Newly opened Vintage Hostel in the middle of the city downtown, right next to the main metro station Serdika (with direct connection to the airport (terminal 2) and the central train/bus station).

Terrible Hostel, Dark like a dungeon with no light, the place gave me the creeps, kitchen was terrible with no sink and unusable old cooker, Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Vintage Central Hotel is very central and accessible. The staff are friendly. It is good value. The ceilings in the rooms are stunning - you have to come to see for yourself. Every night I would come back after a busy day and enjoy a glass of Bulgarian red. The beds were not very comfortable but what do you expect for the cost?

The hostel is nicely located in the centre and the staff were accommodating. It's in the midst of some renovations, and so the bathrooms were okay. Has a nice bar, but I was there during the week in March and the hostel was dead. I imagine the atmosphere depends on when you go.
