Welcome to Sanaa Hostel, the new place to be in Zanzibar! We’re right at the heart of Stone Town, 3 minutes walk to the beach and next to bars, parties and restaurants. Meet your fellow backpackers and travellers in our stylish and newly renovated hostel.

With our beautiful sea view, fully equipped kitchen, tours and nights out organised here, what more could you want! Whether it be Prison Island, Spice tours, Blue safaris, Snorkelling, around Stone town, to Nungwi, Paje, Kizimkazi, Jambiani, Makunduchi, you name it and we can make it happen. Even take a break from the tourist life and join us for a very local experience in some bars you wouldn’t normally find!

All our dorm beds are equipped with mosquito nets, fans and large shared bathrooms to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Free breakfast everyday and someone at the property 24/7 for whatever you need.

A bakery is opposite our front door and we are next to grocery stores and a supermarket. Only a 15 minute walk from the ferry but we provide FREE port pick up to save you the steps with that heavy backpack. We are 7.6km from the nearest airport, Abeid Amani Karume International.
