Whether you're traveling to ride waves, skate, or explore, Selina Peniche is your home! Once a famed fishing port, this growing Portuguese town daily gifts us with waiting-to-be-surfed waters and mild temperatures, which turned it into a newly-established surf capital. World-renowned for its tubular waves, Supertubos beach often stages surf competitions, which you might be lucky enough to catch, and is the perfect place to start with the surfing basics!
After squeezing in some morning surf, join us for lunch with the tasteful wonders of El Chilito, a Mexican restaurant inside Selina Peniche, get some work done at our coworking space, learn how to rock a skateboard, treat yourself to some wellness session on our rooftop terrace, and finished the day off with live music in our Pergola. Explore away by joining an outdoor adventure with one of our expert guides, diving into mouth-watering local delicacies, paintings, and handwoven fabrics at the local market, following jagged cliff trails towards Cabo Carvoeiro’s lighthouse, or visiting the São João Baptista fortress before sunset!

Great atmosphere and the people are lovely. I really enjoyed the bunks, the co-ed dorms, and the hostel itself was great. I love the daily evening events they host.
Only downside was getting or leaving this location was definitely difficult. Also to walk to the nearest beach is about 1km. It is not near Peniche and would need to uber or walk 2hrs to town center.

In terms of bed. This is one of the better hostels. Very big single bed with two pillows and good AC. The property has a half pipe at the front and you can also rent surfboards (although it’s cheaper in town). The location is a little bit out of the way if you want to surf in other spots or go out at night.

This place was lots of fun but definitely overpriced. It’s quite sad how much they price gouge you here from the surf rentals to towels. That being said if you arnt pinching pennies like me it was a lot of fun and very clean. One of the most comfortable hostel beds I’ve slept in, in awhile!!! Also EXTREMELY clean! Definitely recommend but you are going to drop some cheddar lol
