We had a good stay at Homey Hostel. The arrival and check in process was all over Whatsapp but we got all the information we needed. Staff were lovely, one of the owners sent a list of vegetarian restaurants for us. Location was good as were the facilities. The beds weren’t the best, pretty hard. And the blankets were pretty thin. There is also not much of an atmosphere at all to the hostel and maybe isn’t the best for solo travellers. However, we had a good stay there overall.

Fine place to stay for a night on your way though. Hostel was clean and in a good lolocation. There is no where comfortable to sit and relax (not even a couch really). the beds are OK but we struggled to sleep as the road outside was realkh loud and the window diddidnt close.

Overall our stay at Homey Hostel was lovely. The volunteer staying when we were there was Anna, she was amazing! So helpful and enthusiastic and gave us loads of recommendations for Ipoh. Beds were comfy and facilities were basic but good. The only thing i would say is that there isn’t much of a common/chill out area, but we went out for drinks with everyone and that was very lovely! Thankyou!! xx
