Situated in the vibrant city centre of Leon and a stone's throw away from the very best experiences Leon has to offer. We work with local tour companies and source our produce locally for that real authentic Nicaraguan experience. Our guests come from all over the world to get the chance to Volcano Board down a mountain, visit stunning architecture on our doorstep, Cathedral of Leon, Parque Central, Museo De La Revolucion and Iglesia El Calvario. Indulge in Nicaraguan culture, hike and camp outside active volcanoes, canyon water jumping at Somoto, visit Asososca Crater and much more. HOURS OF OPERATION:
Open Monday-Sunday from 7:00am - 10:00pm
THE SPOT HOSTEL ROOM TYPES:
- Standard Mixed 6 Bed dorm with ensuite bathroom/shower
- Standard Mixed 5 Bed dorm with shared external bathrooms/showers
- Deluxe Double Bed with private bathroom for 2
- Standard 4 Bed with external private bathroom for 4
- Standard Double bed with private bathroom for 2
POLICIES & CONDITIONS:
Cancellation Policy: 24hrs before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check-in from 14:00 to 22:00.
Check-out before 11:00.

Really nice hostel, that is just still under construction, notably no doors to the toilets so quite interesting for those in communal area. Dorms do get very hot, despite the individual bed fans - this does need to be addressed later down the line.

The hostel is very clean and fresh, you can tell it is only a few years old. The lockers are spacious and each bed has its own fan (mine only worked on the highest setting which was a bit loud but no major problem) The shower and toilets are nice and clean but they get crowded at bedtime as there are only two. (One dorm room has a bathroom though) Overall a really nice hostel, not a party hostel.
The only “complaint” I have is that some of the rules and systems were confusing. When I was there (march 2023

Given the reviews I had good expectations for this place, however I was pretty disappointed. I guess for a quiet place to sleep this is decent. However, the heat is trapped in the building. The couch area is nice, but no air circulating at all. The rooms have no air con or ceiling fan, but you do get a smaller one in front of each bed. The door to the shower area (the 2 showers) is non existant. The volunteers were bored themselves as there is nothing going on. Breakfast consisted of a bowl of fruit. When I
