Plat hostel was great. Very clean and quiet hostel which was great for us upon arriving to Japan and finishing a long travel day. Couldn’t recommend enough and am excited to stay again!

I stayed for a few days at the tail end of my vacation in Japan. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room and facilities were great.
The two downsides I would point out are that the location is less central, and many places in the city will take 30-60 minutes to get to by public transportation. In addition, the hostel experience was less social than I usually expect.
That said, I had a great stay, and would definitely recommend the place overall.

The hostel is in a great location, you can go to popular destinations like Asakusa Shrine or Ueno Park by foot. The hostel is really clean and sharing the bathroom with the whole floor felt perfectly fine because of it. The staff was extremely accomodating letting us check-in late because of a flight change. They also borrowed us Japanese plug outlets. So overall it was a great experience.
