There was a point in time where the business district in Shinsaibashi/Nagahori area was said to be of higher rank to Ginza area in Tokyo.
On March 1st 2020, W Station began as a station that welcomes diverse people.
Not only people in Japan, but people from around the world with different backgrounds seek new destinations and find themselves at W Station.

Staff were very friendly, I was concerned about the key card being able to open multiple doors in my welcome letter, thought it was strange.
The cleanliness really bothered me. I had to keep a sheet under my door for the last few days, there was a huge cockroach in my room. First time I had this issue in Japan.
The bathrooms were pretty filthy. Bins weren’t changed often enough and the plug holes in the sinks and showers were dirty. Hair usually all over the floor. Air extraction filthy too.

Nice place, I was travelling alone and sadly there weren't many people to socialise with in the hostel and that was my only issue.
The beds are pretty big which is nice however in the 8 person dorm there isnt much space to put your bag so I had to have mine in my bed.
The wifi and free breakfast were both pretty good additions to the stay as well.
The location is very good for the price as its only 15 mins from Dotonburi (party/food area) and like 5 mins from one of the major shopping streets.

Staff is friendly and the location is good. It's not the cleanest hostel and it does not have a big kitchen.
It's fine for a couple of days but I would not want to stay there for longer than that.
