Not a social hostel. More for locals which is totally fine but I didn’t meet anybody as a European backpacker.
Facilities are nice but I wouldn’t stay again.

A really nice hostel in a good location. Good facilities with a large common space to chill or work and a kitchen & laundry. There is also bar/restaurant in the lobby & rooftop bar. Dorms are clean, with privacy curtains. Staff are friendly & helpful. Would recommend Toojou.

If you want to feel like you’re in a nice and clean, safe, modern environment then Toojou is a great option. The staff are extremely accommodating, friendly and will help where they can. The free breakfast was always substantial and changes every morning. The food available to buy is super yummy. Washing machines have in built detergent and softener. As the other reviews point out - the issue is the noise of the bar upstairs. Ear plugs are provided but the bass makes its way through. I am usually a heavy sl
