This hostel has everything it needs to be a top hostel on earth, only missing staff members who are excited about their jobs. The only outgoing and friendly staff member was a girl who was there on a working holiday and the night guy who doubled as a noise controller. The rest of the staff were often never anywhere to be seen nor welcomed anyone as they walked in. Create some events and engage with the guest a little bit. Breakfast staff could be a little more flexible too. I’d stay again.

It’s an OK hostel . Way too expensive for what it offers. Capsule hotels offer way more for the same price.

this hostel has the best location of any hostel in Tokyo. everything is walking distance and they even have a hookah bar in the basement. i would probably say the atmosphere is top 5 in Japan, very social environment, and easy to make new friends. the only negative thing i have about this hostel is the dorm rooms. not spacious at all, somewhat cramped and nowhere to put luggage besides the storage room. the plywood walls separating each capsule is too thin, you can hear everything.
