This Johannesburg Airport Hostel, situated 8 km from Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport, offers a 24-hour Airport/Bus Station pick-up and drop-off service, A safe and ideal place to start and end your holiday/tour in Africa.
Backpackers Connection takes care of budget-conscious travelers. Offerings include 6-bedded dormitory rooms with a desk and lockers, as well as rooms with private and shared bathrooms, for a more luxurious feel without breaking the bank.
The rooms include a light beverage and snack in the morning (coffee, tea and rusks), and hot meals are available from our kitchen at an additional cost.
The premises boast a delightful garden with a swimming pool for those who want to take a dip and a braai (BBQ) area. Shared spaces include a spacious lounge and a self-catering kitchen outfitted with everything you need.

such a great place to spend a few days! It’s out of the hustle of joburg which I appreciated (but easy to get into the city, about 30mins). Perfect spot if you’re getting picked up for a safari or have a flight to catch. They offer airport transport for an incredibly reasonable price. And the staff is incredible! So kind and really make you feel at home. A special place and I look forward to returning !

Kind and helpful staff, friendly and knowledgeable. Ideal setting, close to shops, garage and restaurant's. Quiet and safe area with plenty of space. There is a bar, pool, two lounges, a self-catering kitchen, pool table, game boards, bikes and three friendly dogs. Ideal place not just for departing or arriving from the airport, but a pleasant stop over in its own right.
