Super good vibe and lovely people, if you are a climber! There is no AC in the dorms (but there are fans) and the beds were squeaky. The staff is lovely so when we asked them to fix the beds they did. The surroundings are beautiful as well.

Really lovely chilled spot, 5 minute walk from Tonsai beach and about 15/20 minute jungle walk from Railay beach. Room was simple with a decent on suite, quite a jungle environment so be prepared, but we quite liked that! Definitely not spotless but definitely not dirty. We were here in June which is very quiet, not much atmosphere at all and the area is still clearly recovering from the pandemic, but that’s just the reality of it all and we were more than happy to spend our money on places that needed it! Front desk staff were lovely, the place is beautiful, climbers will especially love it. Thank you for a calm and comfortable stay Chillout! :)

This place definitely serves its purpose, which is to be a pretty affordable hideaway for climbers to rest and recoup between big climbing days on Tonsai. My girlfriend had stayed here 3 years ago and said it was great but on arrival we found it had got a lot more run-down than it clearly used to be and was in considerable disrepair. The shower didn't drain well and the mosquito screens and nets were all damaged. The laundry service ruined several of our clothes. Staff were really nice though.
