The Downtown Hostel, is a new hostel created and thought for the backpacker guest who wants to rest and spend a good time in the heart of the La Paz tourist centre. It is located just one walking minute to the San Francisco Church, witches market, local stores , pubs and restaurants near and around the well know Sagarnaga street. All together with our well know hostel service: hot water, clean beds and sheets, huge breakfast and Restaurant Service. Enjoy the Down Town Hostel with our musical and culture events at our weekly ¨All you can eat in our restaurant DT BREW HOUSE where can organize¨ Parties as well.
All of our Rooms are with private bathroom and shower, wifi, TV cable.

More of a hotel than a hostel. Not much of a social scene if you’re looking for that. It’s really well located to many tourist attractions and the breakfast is really good! A bit noisy at night because it’s on the Main Street.

Lock for room did not work.
Staff forgot to register two extra nights we added and knocked on our door to ask us to check out.
Was hit with whole nights charge for 2 hours late checkout rather than a late check-out fee even though most rooms were empty.
No communal space to meet other travellers.
Had a poor + expensive experience, but other people may like it because the facilities otherwise are generally fine.
