Loved staying with Lisa & Yong who made us feel like family! Having good conversation with them over dinner and coffee at their favorite morning cafe were highlights. Their house is lovely decorated and comfortable and made our stay in Hue memorable. Thanks again from Alex & Sarah!

Yong and Lisa welcome you as if it is your home too. They make you feel relaxed, comfortable and you become friends! The place is comfortable, clean, quiet, free bikes, laundry and good food. Take a tour with Yong, he is the best guide; plenty of knowledge and not rushed like bigger tours. I would recommend to everyone and would stay here every time I visit Hue.

We stayed in a very clean ensuite room at the Hillside for two nights, Lisa and Jon (the hosts) were very welcoming and did their upmost to make our stay as pleasant as possible! They freshly cooked us some amazing veggie breakfasts we including fresh passionfruit drink, fresh ginger tea, bread and jams and homemade fried tofu broth. Which was all incredible. They do offer a cookery class too. It was a great way to get involved with Vietnamese life and stay out of the city centre for a while.
