La Casa Encantada

The hostel is open to welcome any traveler who wants to enjoy their stay in a charming space, which distributes their rooms in an old restored colonial house of the early twentieth century.

The hostel located in the historic center of the municipality of El Paso, in the center and heart of the island of La Palma, one of the most western of the Canary archipelago.
Our house consists of 5 rooms that can accommodate a total of twenty four people. Of the 5 rooms 3 are private and 2 shared. One of the private ones is the family room, which overlooks the street and inner courtyard, for 2 and up to 4 seats, with double bed and 2 single beds. Another of the private ones is a double room with a double bed, with a window that overlooks Salvador Miralles back street, and the other double-twin is interior with a rooftop natural light skylight, with two single beds. And of the shared one is 10 and up to 12 seats, which overlooks a balcony to the Manuel Taño pedestrian street, with 4 bunk beds and 2 single beds, and the other room is 6-7 seats, which also faces the corner from the pedestrian street, with 2 bunk beds and 2 single beds. The house also has a fully equipped kitchen, living room and 3 full bathrooms for shared use. It is ideal for walkers, individual travelers, couples, as well as for groups that want to know the island for its capacity, cozy atmosphere and economic prices.

The rooms of the house are connected by a large glazed and bright gallery, which overlooks an interior courtyard. Through a wooden staircase you can access the attic and the garden terrace with chill-out and shading, which offers a beautiful view of the old town and the mountains.

Its careful decoration and large windows give special importance to natural light, which provides a sense of tranquility and makes all your rooms pleasant and cozy spaces that encourage you to stay. All this in the middle of an artistic environment, with paintings, sculptures, drawings, photographs, as well as a library and computer with free Internet for guests.

Its privileged location in the historic center puts you close to all the services that guests may need: supermarkets, banks, taxi rank, bus stop (bus), health center, restaurants, bars, etc.

If the walls of the house talked, they would talk about history and art. The house hosted for five years the Canarian school of cinema, art and creation, The Enchanted School, where workshops, concerts, exhibitions, talks, screenings, theater were held ...
