The best word I can use for this place is ‘serviceable’. The location & security are good, but the bathrooms don’t drain well, the space between beds are so narrow it’s difficult to squeeze thru. There is no obvious signage from the outside and when I arrived first they said I didn’t have a reservation (I had to show the records that I did) and when I left early, they said I hadn’t paid (again, had to show my account b/c I guess they didn’t keep the receipt?) You can do a lot better than this.

Clean hostel with lovely hosts. Good value with basic breakfast provided every day. Affordable washing services.
However not much atmosphere and mostly older travellers. Good place to stay to explore the sites around coyoacan for a few days.

Good neighborhood and the hostel felt like home. The only downside was that only one of the three showers worked properly.
