Shoestrings is a brightly coloured backpackers a mere five minute walk from town which makes getting around a breeze.
All the doubles and twin rooms are en-suite and linen is provided.The facilities include a lively bar, a pool and restaurant, 24 hour security, great staff, two cats and two of the most famous dogs in the world.
The staff can help you with all your Victoria Falls activity bookings as well as any onward travel you might be interested in doing.
All accommodation and activities need to be paid in foreign currency, and to make your travels easier we would advise you to travel with US$ cash.

Would definitely recommend staying here. We stayed in one of the two person tents, very comfortable with a good fan and USB ports which is always useful. The pool/bar/restaurant are really good with good well priced food and drink (much cheaper than elsewhere in the Falls). Staff are lovely and so helpful especially when booking transfers/activities. Although there are no lockers for big bags there are small lockers for valuables and always someone on the gate so we felt very secure

Wonderful hostel, great social space, excellent pool and bar, great restaurant with cheap prices. my only minor concern was that there was very little security for belongings. Smaller items can be stored in small lockers outside of the room (byo lock)

Wrong room for booking, the described 4 person tent room is non existent. Maybe the fault of the website or Shoestrings. Please correct as I had to get a more expensive option
