Hostel Meyerbeer Beach was rated the most improved hostel at the 2011 Hoscars and our guests say it’s in ‘an ideal location for exploring Nice and surrounding areas.’ It’s just one block from the beach and less than 15 minutes’ walk to the Musée des Beaux-arts, Cathédral Orthodoxe Russe St-Nicholas à Nice and Place Masséna. This hostel features spacious clean rooms, free PlayStation, free beach mats and towels and a relaxed common area where it’s easy to meet other travellers.

We're the closest hostel to the beach, with a super transportation network - our location is just a few minutes' walk from the train station, major bus stops and all other amenities.
All our rooms have a private bathroom with WC and shower and individual safes or security lockers to ensure that your valuable belongings are safe. Rooms include free towels and linens. There is air conditioning in the dorms.
We invite you to discover Nice and the French Riviera through our friendly and helpful staff and our great facilities.
There is 24-hour recorded surveillance for your safety. A cheap laundrette is across the road.
Our features include free beach mats and towels, free luggage storage, maps and tourist info and free use of our guide books. English Sky cable TV in the common area and free Wi-Fi in the common area and across all the rooms.
We have hot showers 24hrs a day and common showers (in case you're in a 10-bed dorm and all of your nine roommates woke up before you :-). Guests can use our common kitchen, hair dryer and ironing facilities.

hostel meyerbeer was a nice hostel and the people who work dere. my room was upgraded for free into a six bed doom. the location wasn't to bad a 20 minute walk to nice ville station, only downside is the atmosphere wasn't that great to meet anyone, no lounge for travels to meet and have a phew drinks, arriving at night was a nightmare as the reception closed and is not open for 24 hours, the wifi wasn't that great as well. neber less a decent hostel

Good overall experience at this hostel. Clean rooms, great location, and easy access to everything needed during the stay. However, there were some issues with the organization of the check-in process. When arriving at 7:30pm, there was no one working the desk that was able to settle the rest of our bill, the employee said she could not help us with any billing, and we should come back tomorrow. We recieved keys, but were not able to pay remaining balance. Upon email, I was told someone would be at the

Ursula is amazing and the staff were very friendly but the atmosphere lacked. The common room/kitchen was closed for a long part of the day so was hard to socialise. One thing that was good was the 8 girl dorm room was upgraded to a 3 bed and two didnt show up so a private room for a few nights was nice.
Ursula also upgraded me to have a free breakfast which was kind.
If you go here do the pub crawl as its the best way to meet people at this hostel and is worth the €15
