The Emile Hostel is situated in the heart of town within walking distance of all tourist attractions, shopping area, restaurants, and just 30 seconds away from Casemates square where you have a variety of pubs. Here we have dormitory rooms, doubles and single rooms available.
Our facilities include 42 beds, showers, free linen and duvets, left luggage, tourist information, and other amenities. Our professional and friendly staff will provide you with excellent information on what to do and see. Excursions in Gibraltar, Spain and Morocco can also be arranged.
The hostel is a family operated business offering an excellent customer service in a relaxed and multicultural atmosphere.

apparently 2 is the lowest review one can leave on the website (haven’t gotten that far down before), and i think that is very fair for this place. skip it if you’re in town, book a hotel

Nice but super basic dorms here. Great location, and good for a night or two (if you want to see everything on Gibraltar and climb the rock). No atmosphere when I went, but I kind of expected that going into Gibraltar anyway.Owner is a cool guy, easy going. Happy to help if you need it.

Well, where to start? No lockers, no kitchen (actually there is, but you aren't allowed to use it), no laundry facilities (despite there being no self-service launderettes on Gibraltar). The rooms sometimes stink (I'd guess there's perhaps a damp issue). Also the beds, showers & rooms are all very basic and in dire need of renovation. Also, there was only one member of staff when I stayed so often when people turned up nobody was there to check them. Staff member was nice & friendly at least.
