Langasjo Vandrarhem STF

The guesthouse Langasjo Vandrarhem STF is housed in the old church stables, a 60m long red-stained building in a beautiful countryside at the centre of the small village of Långasjö. The guesthouse is open all year round. A breakfast buffet is available in summer season. We have a café with bakery, pancakes, waffles etc. There are bicycles for hire. Playground and barbecue area by the guesthouse.

Here you can enjoy peace and quiet in a beautiful natural environment. If it is warm, you can take a refreshing dip in lake Långasjön, which is only 100m away. There are also fine walking trail around the lake, wild fishing and rich bird life. Enjoy a relaxing trip into the deep forests of Småland. There are walking trails and cycle paths surrounding Vilhelm Moberg’s Emigrant District. It is 1.5km to Klasatorpet where the film Emigrants was recorded. The hostel houses an emigrant’s museum.

At Langasjo Vandrarhem STF we offer comfortable private rooms as well as cottages. The cottages are fitted with kitchenette, seating areas. One cottage is wheelchair accessible. Our private rooms have a workdesk or seating area and have shared bathroom facilities.
