Follow the signs for Niteroi, after the 13km Rio-Niterói bridge make a left in direction of Rio Bonito, about 50km. Then take a right (Via Lagos) following the sign Araruama / Cabo Frio (Região dos Lagos). Continue for another 70kms past Araruama and Sao Pedro. In Cabo Frio reach the first & only round-about on this highway (WV Casal car dealership).
